Danziger TK Variant
I just picked up this really nice Danziger TK variant. This variant has subtle differences that quite honestly I would not pick up on if I didn't have others on hand to compare with. You can see the differences compared to the common pattern Danziger on the left. Most noticeable is the larger rounder cranium not as sloped as the other pattern. The nasal cavity is larger or more elongated and the eye is larger and shaped differently. I know we've discussed this one before on a recent thread, maybe someone can find it and post it here. I'll post better photo's when I resolve my camera issues.

Nice score Al! At first look, I would have thought this was the common type. Even looking at them side by side, if you didnt point out the subtle variations, I wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Very nice finish on this one and in great shape, congrats!

Very nice piece! It reminds me of one of my recent examples with the weathered tarnish and worn finish. These types of skulls (Danziger) give me the chills and are more special in my mind than the 2nd pattern SS Insignia. I have looked through the most recent posts, but could not find any with a positive match. Some come close, like the more rare variant that is not seen often of the ST&L marked skulls.
