Early style Totenkopf.....ok?

Article about: I just bought this totenkopf in Germany. I could not find any maker's marks on it. Is it legit? Thanks, Pablo.

    As the original poster of this thread, I have now become quite interested in these TKs and have learned much. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. What sort of literature do you recommend as an aid in collecting TKs?

    So what is my TK a reproduction of......an Danziger or a Heer 5th Calvary?

    What was the primary characteristics that made my TK a repro? Was it the lack of detail....especially of the teeth? I added a photo of one of the prongs and they looked like they have been clipped instead of angled....is that something to watch out for?
