Thanks Greg! one of my favorite aspects of building the collection is taking photo's and posting them. I use an old beat up Fuji finepix but it gets the job done.

Ridiculous but I got another one of these skulls, LOL. It's hard to say no when they are still very affordable and everything else is out of control. These skulls have been around for a long time and have seen use from Imperial times through the TR. Some collectors associate these nice shiny ones as reproductions and only accept the old ground dug variety. Keep in mind there is plenty of photographic evidence of these skulls on TR era caps. As a collector I come across tons of common eagles, cockades, cyphers and other metal insignia of every variety in near mint condition and yet I don't discount them as fake based solely on the lack of wear. Why should this be any different.
