After fifty or so years with all of this, I must struggle to understand how a beginner looks at the dead head question.
In my time, there was no knowledge at all--- very, very little data of any kind, and surely not the overkill of images and confusion that are the norm
for the internet. That is, the whole thing was really very slow in its pace and less conflicted with its detail.
And there were not a hundred and fifty wise guys carping all the time in public about the least decision.
An ugly reality, but we try to sort it out for people.
I am not sure why, in fact, if not for my own amusement and interest in how knowledge works with human intelligence or lack of same.
The mob and thug mentality associated with much of it is much less useful, but the role of mobs and thugs is well known on a theoretical level all the same.
