nice original
Thanks man when I get the money I'm going for it!
Nice...but why are you calling it Navy? Is it Navy marked?

I thought they were only used by the Kriegsmarine?
Perhaps only if they are 'Eagle M' marked. This flag could
have been flown outside of a school or office building,
or any other place where a flag would be
appropriately used.
Still very nice if the price is right. It looks to be
in excellent condition.........

Steve.
It was the national flag of Germany for 12 years....it could have been flown most anywhere. Generally, a Navy flag will have Kreigsmarine markings such as an eagle over an "M" on the edging. This one could just as easily have hung from a private citizen's house flag pole as to that of a Military vehicle or building.

From what I know ( which aint much ) the flags with the white bunting which are marked Gosch, are the flags which on flown on the jackstaff of vessels, not necessarily kriegsmarine, but commercial boats when in port....Pete.

As you can tell by the pictures it's been awhile since I've been there but I think I remember it being in the $250 range
I'd say that's a bit more than it's worth, for me anyway. Others may have a different opinion.
