Default Fake or real Flag of the Kriegsmarine?

I going through my collection of Kriegsmarine stuff, and is always was wondering if this flag can ve considered original? When got her she was full of sand and smell like mortar like she was encased in wall or something similar. The Cotton is pretty thin which in my opinion would support the original thought because of the war material were short. The measurements and the Kriegsmarine stamp are the only ones on her.
The next question is and don't hate me please can you do something to get more straight again? She is very crumbled since I got her. I not sure if I would dare to ironing her Fake or real Flag of the Kriegsmarine?Fake or real Flag of the Kriegsmarine?Fake or real Flag of the Kriegsmarine?

The flag is a post war copy.

1970s Delta International piece or similar mail order company.

The size and Kriegsmarine stamps are both fake. There are no reinforcing tabs and the material being thin would be a red flag since it would have to withstand the elements so that theory of war materials being in short supply does not hold up.

There will be no harm done if you wish to iron this and display as a backdrop since it not Third Reich era original.

150 x 90 is not an official KM size.

Here is a link to the authorized KM flag sizes. This information can be found in the Third Reich era Kriegsmarine FlaggeBuch. (Flag Book)

    Original Kriegsmarine flag?
