    Bob, what fighter group is your banner attributed to?

    The one I have is from Pocking which post WWII became a NATO Base but then closed sometime in the 70's I believe.

    Chuck Yeager wrote in his book that he shot down a ME 262 on approach to the pilots landing the ME 262 aircraft there.

    Thanks guys, Rich, it is from Werl, which is near Dortmund I believe...

    Werl was where GFM Kesselring was imprisoned post-war after being convicted of war crimes.

    Stig, yes they are hard to come by, and sadly there are some very good reproductions out there.

    The one shown above had some areas of concern, so it went back, I am much happier with the replacement...
