NSBO Flag from Ehrenstein Kreis Ulm

An interesting NSBO flag from Ehrenstein, Kreis Ulm in Baden-Württemberg for a factory cell of a stone works. Corner patch configuration is like the NSDAP Ortsgruppenfahne type with white embroidered designation on a brown field bordered in blue. Flag is approximately 4x4', missing rings and has a few small stains but no damage.

Ehrenstein is an ancient village dating its 6000 year history back to the stone age. It is part of the town of Blaustein.

Very nice flag! I would say around 1935. It looks more like a DAF flag because the DAF also used this Ortsgruppe color combination of brown/light blue like the NSDAP, while the NSBO ​​actually used black corner patches with white edging. Overall, an unusual and non-coompliant design. In the later years of the TR, such long texts were expressly prohibited on the corner patches, as was the use of the designation "NSBO", "NSDAP" or "DAF", etc.
