SS Pennant

Wanted some info on this pennant. It was picked up at an estate sale over 30 years ago. It is a thicker canvas type material with silk screened SS runes. The spine is leather and is stitched around the canvas. There are no rigid stiffeners around the edges of the pennant. The leather bears faint SS runes and a series of unknown numbers on it. The canvas also has the remnants of a faint rectangular stamp on the canvas. Any thoughts or information is appreciated.

IMO, it's not original t the period.
The construction, materials, and stitching, are not what I would expect to see, inferior quality.

Yes, that stitching wouldn't impress a RZM inspector.
