Whatever the story with this piece may be, the handwork stitching is beautifully done. So...what would you say the value of this is,Ned? Maybe....oh, I don't know....say, $7,995? lol

Nikoslira....why don't you click on the "Photo Gallery" link that Big Ned had at the bottom in his posting....you might see something resembling this trumpet and banner that just sold.

. This banner features a heavily embroidered in bullion thread with the stylized title "PzGR 4" on one side and a heavily embroidered using bullion thread Wehrmacht eagle on the other side. The banner is woven on white silk. The white is age yellowed on the eagle side probably due to exposure. The banner measures 18 1/2 x18 1/2 not including the 2 ½ inch long twisted bullion threads that border the banner. The trumpet measures approximately 32 inchs long including the mouthpiece. It shows good age patina. One of the clips that attaches the banner to the trumpet has a minor repair. It is original of fake? What is the price for this piece of history if i want to sell it?
