Description: A cap constructed of blueish-gray wool, with Luftwaffe eagle patch in silvery/grey cotton threads, mounted on matching blue/grey woolen base, and an embroidered, national tri-colour cockade in black, white, and red rayon threads. The interior is fully lined in blue/grey rayon, maker marked "G.A.Hoffmann / Berlin SW. 29", date stamped "1939" and size stamped "56" in black ink. G.A.Hoffmann of Berlin is known for their fine quality manufacture Panzer Overseas Caps. Shows obvious signs of wear and has several visible holes.
