Description: Hello! Back in January I posted about this cap, along with a German Dagger (for reference the forum post is located HERE). Through the help of the forum, and subsequent information I was able to dig up I learned that this is a German Artillery Officer's cap (M38 Feldmütze), in near perfect, if not perfect, condition. The cap is an item that my grandfather traded artillery items for after the war, so my brother and I are ok to part with it after discussing it with my family... we are keeping the dagger in the family.
The wool, color, stitching and leather are all in excellent shape. The size marked is 55 as seen in the photographs. I did not know much about this item before posting, so if there are any other angles you would like photographed I will be happy to supply those. Feel free to contact with any questions.
