ALLEGED SS CAMMO HELMET - Any Thoughts?

Met up with a friend today at a flea market.
I picked up a DD Luft for myself which I will post separately.
My friend shows me this helmet which he was told was a SS Cammo.
I am not an expert on German helmets and I especially have difficulty with cammo lids.
This one doesnt look good to me but my friend asked me to post it for him.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Also any idea as to value (if it is authentic)?

I am sorry for the bad photos.
My iphone camera *****.
There was what appeared to be a missing SS decal but it is very hard to see in my photos.
Next week I will take a good camera so I can get better pics.
All that aside, has anyone seen a cammo in this type of configuration?
