All good points well observed gentlemen, I would not be spending the high euro's concerned from these images alone. At best a heavily scrubbed and "possible" original decal, but I am with David that on the whole it does not stand out as a one looker so the questions are to big to ignore. I also am not liking the slight "curve" to the left side of the shield, one to pass on. Leon.

4,500 euros - my mistake. I wonder if anyone bites...

The OP's opening thread..."Another try" is appropriate for the seller this time around.

Someone will, I have no doubt about that.

Oh and I forgot to mention that the seller posted the decal on w.a.f before he purchased it himself.
What was the conclusion there??
As David I’m not very found of this decal either... Looks very thin and low quality, not as an original that is easy to spot directly..

Anders, I do not know about the conclusion.

At least the seller is transparent about it being "scrubbed".
".....The helmet comes with a cleaned original paint..... "
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

So, would the asking price of 4.5k euro be a normal thing for a Single Decal SS helmet, or does the M40/42 makes a big difference?
