Hoping to get a few opinions from those with more experience in early SS helmets regarding this one. The quality of the photos might make it impossible, but all I have. Thanks for any information!
This one is beyond my expertise. It does not resemble what is called the "Austrian Pattern" (page 143 of Ken N's book). Also, it does not resemble examples of the black parade helmets in Ken's book.
That said, I will defer to others here.

As you said a tough call with these pic: blurry, angled and bad light.
It might be real but can't give 100% thumbs up so far
