Authentic SS helmet??

I have an opportunity to buy a helmet with SS decal and would like to know if it is authentic. thanks!

The experts will want better photos but it looks like the old "round bottom" fake - and the liner looks like a treated repro as well ( no age to it )
It wouldn't surprise me if this is a complete "restoration" ......

I have never seen an hkp SS helmet. From the photos it looks like a good late war helmet someone put a bad fake decal on.

If you are going into collecting SS make sure to get detailed photos of all parts and good close-ups.
