I guess many ( including myself ) are amazed this was found on Ebay!!!!!

I did post on other forums as stated but this forum, I believe has many member that aren't on the other 2 or also has members that post much more over here then they do there. At this point, yes, i know its good. I just thought it was odd that I posted the thread over a week ago and got no replies.

I understand that it must be ennoying to say things over and over but I would appreciate if someone could explain here why the evaluation I made is not correct. Just a short clear answer is enough for me... Otherwise you better delete this thread here...

You would be correct as EF runes have a sharper corner but this is an EF made helmet with ET decal. Even though it's an M40 it was made in 1942 and has a 1942 dated liner band so I guess it would fall in line with other M42's

A nice find. I echo what Dan said too about finding something like this on EBay.
