Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings

Wow, great find man!
Looks real interesting Paul. With these relics it can be so hard to tell if original by photos but I honestly cannot see any red flags so presume that its a beauty!
Cheers
Doug
I like this helmet!!!
Thanks Doug it has come from a very reputable source in Estonia having been recently found in Southern Estonia it looks really good in hand , the unit who fought in the location was the SS Sturmbrigade Wallonie so it could have been one of theirs , is there any way your practised eye can tell the maker etc ?
cheers
Paul
