M40 SE64 DD SS helmet

A friend of mine has found this helmet and would like opinions on its authenticity. I am very limited on my knowledge when it comes to SS in general so I didn’t want to give him a 100% opinion. From what I can find SE didn’t make SS helmets meaning this should should have a Pocher decal. From that I also found it really should be a M35 as this would be very uncommon on an M40. I’m also not a fan of the interior.

I must apologize about the image quality as he states it’s the best the seller can do, which of course raises more suspicion in my eyes.
