M42 - ET 64 / lot 206

The manufacturer's photos are really very bad, I can just guess 64.
For the code in the neck, it is also unreadable.
The 1st digit is a 2, the second looks like a 0 and the 3rd can be a 6 or an 8.

If one can see the font of the lot number it will be enough the verify if ET or EF. But from the photo it is impossible to tell. The decal itself has all the traits of an ET decal but the photo is not sharp enough to be conclusive if it is an authentic example.

Outside in cloudy weather with not to much sun nor shadow or some good lighting like a mini photo studio, lightbox can make a whole lot of difference. A steady hand with a recent or good smartphone camera can do the trick i think. Hope you can make a good photo.

The helmet is very authentic and has not been reconstructed.
It has a somewhat rough and dull period paint.
Now is this a WSS headset? ... that is the question .....

I received 2 photos that I tried to rework on my PC, in order to have more clue.
Although this is better than before, I have the impression that the inscriptions correspond more to an EF.
As for the lot number, it looks like a 206.
