SS helmet what do you guys think about it?

Cant give a good Opinion on the decals, but condition wise its still a very nice helmet imo. although the liner and the paint have seen better days, the decals and especially the SS Decal are in pretty great condition!

Thanks for the responses everyone. I value and appreciate your opinion and input. This is the first SS helmet I have run across for sale that has been in a veterans family’s hands.

Medical plaster or paper tape on the inside? maybe had a vet's name and postage details once?

It is an M35 btw.

I’m not sure what the tape is about I wondered if it didn’t fit the solider well and he taped something inside of it to try to make it fit better.

Thanks helmet2id! I was not sure if it was an M35 or M40 I only have a couple other WWII German helmets in my collection one from a garage sale and the other at an auction a few years ago
