2 more EKII-s arrived. The first EKII has a damaged ribbon. I was told that the owner glued it to his civil uniform after WWII and used it in veteran meetings. I know that it was officailly prohibited to wear III Reich awards after WWII in Germany and Austria but in private meetings it was allowed. The 2-nd EKII comes without interesting history - the only thing I know it probably belonged to the ostfront fighter. I do not have any other items from the same lot.

A nice pair of EK2s. Not mint but in average sleeper condition.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

I personally do not like mint awards:-). These EK-s have seen some real action or at least I hope so.
