I'm more of an Imperial EK collector, (1870,1914) but this one looks good to me. Someone with more experience with 39er EKs will be along to add to this, but as I say looks good to me.
There are a number of cores for Klein & Quenzer (maker mark 65) however I'd need to spend more time looking at the various cores. I only have 1 K&Q EKII 39er in my collection.
Core variants
unmarked core A
marked 65 core A
marked 65 core B
marked 65 core C
Here is the one in my collection, I think the beading of the frame is a match, have a look and see what you think.

Is the burr loose or stuck to the paint on the core?
I like seeing these EKs with little anomalies and those that slipped past the quality control.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
The border is a little extra, covering the iron core, but it is not loose
The quality inspection was too careless?
I think so. It looks like the excess material wasn't cleaned away and it's been painted onto the core.
