Nice cross! Anyone a suggestion what happend to the beading and the upper arm? The slight deforming, you can clearly see a wave in the beading and upper arm.
Production failure that slipped quality control?
I can't imagine that this happend because of heavy wear.
And I don't think it is the picture fooling the eyes/brain.

I think a very nice miss press?

It's not an uncommon sight, you can notice this quite often on EK2s. Maybe heat distortion from attachment of the jump ring.
