Well done Ralph! A fine example of the round '3' variant EKII. Many of them have rough cores but yours is a nice smoother cross.

Quite possibly Ralph but notice it only occurs on the obverse frame. I would take a reasonably educated guess they were made sometime apart from each other, put into stock, the person assembling the cross picked them at random from the stockpile and made the cross with one flawed frame and one not flawed.
These little idiosyncrasies make the hobby all the more interesting!
