    Hi fellow collectors!
I have had this cross for a 2 years. Got the on the other forum before I bought it. But I have now read on the other forum that they ,at least when it comes to L/55 marked ones are very controversial. This f.o souvalframed is not m.m
So what are your thoughts about this ek1? Is it one of the controversial crosses that maybe not is wartime made, or is it accepted as wartime made?
    Thanks for looking !

    Hi Mike

it looks like a nice souval to me.

What do you mean about L/55 marked ones? L/55 is W&L

is there a mark on this cross? what is the actual mark if present?

i think we're talking about L58 here and not L55?

edit: ah sorry... i see that you say there "not maker marked".

Oh sorry! I ment L/15 of course I noticed on the "other " forum , in this thread : Sale @ E-Stand! 160 Euro for a Suspect EK1 L15! And the L/55 !!! - Page 2 - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums (sorry for linking to another forum) that some thinks that this type of cross is suspect, as special with m.m L/15 on. That is why I´m asking for your opinion. I´m no EK1 expert but I think that my cross is pretty similar to the one that was brought up for discussion in that thread, besides my lack the L/15 m.m .
The pics of the cross is in the e-stand add that is mentioned in post 1 . But if you Nick say it´s fine then I'm probably completely wrong.
And many thanks to all that have been kind to answer here
