My first Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse
Got my first EKII! PZM 19 maker marked, which makes it a (semi-rare from what I gather) Weidmann. I looked up other Weidmanns for reference and it had the same characteristics, so I was confident enough to buy without asking for opinions here first. Hopefully that was not a mistake! Without further adieu:
Really love the contrast between the beading and the core + darker frame patina! I spent so long looking at these online that having one in hand feels kind of surreal. The craftsmanship is very impressive. I told myself I was only gonna buy one but I have my doubts about that now, especially if I can land a Schinkel or an Ubergrosse for a decent price.

Nice find! These aren't the most common maker to find so you did well.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
