Need Help?
I have a friend who wants to part with a minty L/11 EK2. However; He will not budge off of $200. Isn't this a bit too steep of a price?

Yes it is expensive.
You can buy them from dealers for around $150-$170.
If it's mates rates then you should be looking at the lower end.

Hello Adrian, Thank you for your input. I told him he was way outside of a realistic price range. I suppose he thinks he has the proverbial "Golden Goose" due to condition. I see you collect LDO EK2's?

I do have a couple of EK2s.

Hello Adrian, Looks like I just pissed a friend off by not buying the EK2. I appreciate the advise

The L/11 is the most common of the LDO's

Thank you Nick! I feel better now about letting it go. $200 was just too much for it.

Well you should be a bit pi$$ed at him for trying to rip you off. There is no way a fairly common L/11 marked EK2 is worth $200 in the market today, especially when dealers, who will always charge top dollar, are asking less for their same pieces.
