Default Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes: K&Q 65

I picked this up at the Max Show this week.

I've been looking for a nice worn Knights Cross for a long time. For me, a high level award like this has much more appeal if it was worn.

This one has the added bonus of having a neck ribbon. Something I wanted as well. It is the shorter style ribbon but that is fine.

This example is a nice textbook K&Q 65 (Klein & Quenzer) with just a light amount of wear to some of the high points.

    I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you Glenn. I was fortunate and very thankful I was able to aquire this piece. A childhood wish list item that I have finally crossed off the list.

Would also say that this hobby has some of the finest people. The help I received from friends and complete (but well respected experts) strangers when I was looking to purchase this award was really great.

Thanks! Many fakes and a few NIB examples. But this was the only issued and worn example. Was very happy to have found it.

Hopefully you can join us next year!

Thanks you Ralph. Appreciate the thoughts

Certainly has been a long. wait. But the search, while sometimes maddening, is half the fun.
