Article about: I picked this up at the Max Show this week. I've been looking for a nice worn Knights Cross for a long time. For me, a high level award like this has much more appeal if it was worn. This on

Thanks Paul. I am quite happy I've finally been able to fill this gap.

I think I am now only missing the 1813 and the 1870 1st class.

I do need to rearrange this case.

    Thanks Ade/Dan

There were only 4 real KC's at the MAX that I could find and this was the only one that was issued and worn. All the others were unissued cased example.

@Dan: What did you pick up?

    Michael,

A very impressive award to have added to your collection. Happy to see that you were able to obtain one.

Been so busy closing and moving the museum, I have not had a chance to really read the posts and topics. Taking a break right now and thought I would comment.

Years ago we had a Valor exhibit at the museum where we had on display some of the WW2 Nation's high decorations and we displayed a Victoria Cross, US Medal of Honor and a Knights Cross. They were all reproductions but it was a nice exhibit at any rate..

Well,, breaks over.. pack to packing...

    Best regards

    Smitty
