I don't have any problems with this cross....
the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that I don't own it!

I agree with Danny. A very nice cross without any of the later beading flaws and lots of frosting.

I like the hand file work of the beading corners. So far, no obvious red flags that I'm seeing.

Yes, it is the "A" frame. "B" frames will typically have the "Dot" flaw on the lower beading section of the 3 o'clock arm. The "A" type frames did however develop severe beading flaws resulting from a crack in the die.
Here is an example of moderately flawed cross, and another where the flaw has progressed somewhat.

To me, Dietrich Maerz is one of very few people who can provide a meaningful expertise. That is my opinion only though.
