Thoughts on this Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse Schinkel?
My novice eyed aren't trained enough to spot a fake Schinkel yet. Anything about this one look suspect? I found it interesting how the swastika rests on the lower inner corners with a gap above. Would that suggest a particular maker?
I do not have info/pics regarding maker marks yet.

regarding the swastika location, it could be that the core has shifted slightly, sometimes the core can be slightly loose between the frames

It's a Latvian fake. Have a search on the forum and you will see a few other examples posted.
