Is the pin hinge block mounted crooked on this or is it just a trick of the light?

Does it feel quite light in hand compared to other crosses?

i just compared it to a couple of other crosses and they feel no different but ill go and get the kitchen scales also i there any way to check the metal?

no real difference just comparing to asouval if anything a tad heavier, although proper scales would be better. also yes it is a bit crooked just a bit too high on the right side
