    Hello and welcome to the forum.
    Please read this thread regarding posting in the EK section of the forum.
    The Use of German Terminology.

    The cross you have posted is a Souval cross, indicated by the "claw feet" on the outside corners of the beading.
    I believe, this is most likely a post war cross.

    Quite possibly, they continued to make these for the GI's after the war.
    I suggest you wait for other opinions, as these are not my strong point.

    Sorry, but this is not a Souval. This is a so-called 'Souval fake/look-a-like', sometimes also referred to as the 'Stuttgart fake'.

    No original parts and not from any wartime dies. Return to sender asap.
