I had a search and found the following information.
In the spring of 1944, the town of Sommervieu (in the Gold Beach sector) housed the command post of the 8./Batterie of the Artillerie-Regiment 352. They were armed with four 105mm leFH 18/40 (leichte Feldhaubitze).
