Lorenz Goldfuß was born 18.2.1897, in Mistelgau. He joined to NSDAP 1.8.1932 and get membership number 1215892. City where he stationed to Ortsgruppenleiter and lived was Heroldsberg, just 11km away from Nürnberg.

His Mitgliedsbuch is pretty good condition, there is stamps from 1933 to 1943, included reichsparteitag stamps 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938 and 1939. Good picture of him, wearing political brown shirt (Note position of the party pin and ribbon bar).

Here small detail what I find about Lorenz Goldfuß.

"In July 1933, the Jewish entrepreneur Oskar Rosenfelder, whose Vereinigte Papierwerke Heroldsberg AG in Nuremberg successfully produced Camelia women's pads and Tempo handkerchiefs, was given the pretext to be the local group leader of the NSDAP, Lorenz Goldfuß. The Nazi accuses him of embezzling canteen money and welcomes him with ten like-minded people. In 1947, Rosenfelder spoke in an affidavit of a "horde of armed SA men" who threatened him with arrest and "physically harassed" him. They ask for 12,000 Reichsmarks. He gives them half and they let him go."

Lorenz Goldfuß actually work in that Vereinigte Papierwerke AG at that time and continue to work there after when the company start to be part of the party's property.

    Thank you Willmore and Aldo.

Yes it's sure helps me Will, I'm glad for your help. Thank you.

What makes interesting about this grouping that it's feels like Lorenz Goldfuß was member of almost all nazi organisation and there is still lots of to research. From that group picture do not show, but he was also member of Reichskolonialbund and Hitlerjugend Opfer-Ring. Those membership cards is under another books.

It is a very interesting group!

I’m not an expert in this type of document, but it seems to show what was going on in Germany during this time very well. I found an account about the incident at the Papierwerke in Heroldsberg involving Oskar Rosenfelder. (I used an online translator, so I hope this is right).

    The paper mills in Heroldsberg

Oskar and Emil Rosenfelder are the main shareholders of the United Papierwerke Heroldsberg AG in the Weimar Republic, popularly known as "Camelia-Werke". The company is state-of-the-art and profitable. In addition to women's ties and other paper products, it manufactures the »Tempo» handkerchief, its own invention and world first. After the "seizure of power", the aim of the local National Socialists is to aryanize this factory. The terror began in July 1933, when Lorenz Goldfuß, head of the Heroldsberg NSDAP, ordered Oskar Rosenfelder into the factory on the pretext that he had embezzled canteen funds. This in an affidavit of August 1947: "At the meeting he had already organized his campaign of blackmail down to the smallest detail." He did not come alone, but, among other things, had come. brought along a gendarmerie guard and ten people of "work protection" who were posted at the door. "They apparently saw their task, presumably ordered, in emphasizing the words of the local group leader by constantly banging on the door throughout the meeting, otherwise banging and squealing, and making threats and insults against me." When Goldfuß also goes physically against Oskar Rosenfelder, he is forced to pay half of the 12,000 Reichsmark (RM) that is being asked. He is escorted to the bank by three gunmen. About two weeks later, he broke into his office and the "secret journal" was stolen, a kind of internal balance sheet. » On August 8, 1933, Georg Distler who was loyal to me, came to me and told me that he had learned that I should be arrested the same day. Mr. Distler advised me and my brother to flee immediately and to take me abroad.

Yes, that is the same page what I find also and from there I find out that Lorenz Goldfuß was Ortsgruppenleiter. This information do not read in his membership books, so who knows what can come up next.
