Hello Montag.
I did a google search and found this Wehrpass to a member of Infanterie Regiment 412.
Description from the website.
Germany - Army/Infantry - Wehrpass Inf. Rgt. 412 KIA Westgrenze Holland
Original - Paper - Very good condition
Wehrpass of Karl Piesch Piesche.
Piesche is one of the very first Germans throughout the war that incredibly early was killed in the West (probably the first ever!) on 2 May 1940.
Piesche served with infantry regiment 412. In the time he was there, he was in charge of the Sicherung der deutschen Westgrenze. This unit was stationed in Gronau on the Dutch side.
Even before the RAID, he somehow died through a "Schutzverletzung durch Kopfschuss". On 2 May 1940, a few days before the invasion of Netherlands, he deceased in a Lazarett in Coesfeld.
Perhaps this has to do with the first skirmishes around the Dutch border??? Certainly worth to find out.

Interesting piece of history from the Phoney War period. Someone snapped it for a fair price.
Hello Willmore, Thanks for your help!
I wish I could find another one.
