Hello folks.
Some more photo pickups. I haven't encountered any of these before. I have seen a great many Allied press photographs, and have a couple in my collection, but these are the first German press photos I've come across.
Of these two pieces, one is an actual photograph, depicting Do-17 aircraft in flight over the Volga, the other a piece of artwork. Both are dated to November 1941. Each features a separate paper 'flimsy' on the rear, describing the contents. They were presumably intended to be used in various newspaper and magazine publications. I have no idea if they were ever used for that purpose or not, but they make an interesting pair.
Regards, B.B.
