I did think of that too Mo, as the guns would seem to match that. But doesnt it look like it has a tall/high armoured top? I think youre on the right track...... (no pun intended)

Hi Bill, it is an Sdkfz 251 A half track. Fitted the Pak 36. Note the distinctive front glasis plate and bumber bar of the early "A" version half track.
Cheers, Ade.

I really like that Luftwaffe pic. The man obviously had a long career in the Kriegsmarine before he ended up in the Luftwaffe.

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and thought I would share one of my photos:
Welcome to the forum , an interesting shot from Maikop , as far south just about as the Wehrmacht reached in the Caucusus , taken winter 1942 !!
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )
1st July 1916
Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
