Here is a photograph of German soldiers walking with bicycles while on the eastern front. Probably taken during the initial push of Operation Barbarossa. I am not sure if it is a Maschinengewehrwagen 36 (If.5) that is seen on the left side of the image.

Nice photo Witt, certainly agree with the ID of zwillingsockel and the time frame appearing to be the Summer of 1941.
