    A photo of what I believe to be two early T-34s, T-34 Model 1940 variants to be more exact, that were photographed in the ditch they were left in. It is difficult to see any extent of damage other than pieces of scrap steel scattered around. It is also interesting to note that they have settled in the ditch from opposite directions as are both turrets.

    Great picture, no ideas on location and can only guess at the circumstances of their loss. Interestingly the right vehicle has lost or thrown a track. There are towing cables behind the left tank. Was one trying to assist the other or were they both lost due to panic by the crews?
