Gentlemen with great sadness i must announce the passing of Oberleutnant Gerhard Krems, a man who i corresponded with many times and the first knights cross i ever wrote to with the help of Paul in 2012. RIP another hero lost to time.
Here is a photo with Himself and Egmont Prinz zur Lippe-Weißenfeld, who he still described as the best friend he ever had in life.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Here is a rare photo of Ju-52 Pilot pilot Günter Frenzel, the usual one you see is his 1942 color studio picture. This photo was taken a taken at the family home one year later.

Letter from Dr. Gerhard Zoppoth
This morning my son and me received a letter from Dr. Gerhard Zoppoth dated April 10th, 2017.
The surprise has been total, because he responds to our letter dated March 25th, but the letter (that is written with typewriter) surprisingly is written neither in German nor in English; but it is in a good Spanish!!. He has also sent us a signed photograph with a dedication on its back
