WOW! You guys are the best! Thank you very much for all the history.

I was shocked when I clicked on 30 mai link. If you scroll down you will see the photo that I posted if you click on the source, not only is it the same photo, it is the SAME photo. I examined my photo and it has the same marks on the top boarder, the bent top left corner.

I bought this and a couple of other photos from an estate a few year ago. At the time there were a LOT of photos for sale, I should have bought more. Attached, is an original press photo of Rommel on an inspection tour and on the back one of the stamps is dated 11 JAN 1944 by a Paris news group. Can anyone interrupt the writing on the back?
