Some cracking finds there WH. Love the trench art lighter and the 'named' stuff. Did you ever track the dog tag owner down ?
Cheers

Here are some of my favourites, from a Stuka dig in France. Base of the control column, throttle box and part of the armoured seat. Three possible werk numbers were found but none can be tied down. The pilot appears to have escaped as there was no trace of him amongst the considerable wreckage. Love the Roman coins, for the amount of time I've spent detecting I've found nothing interesting like that, not even a silver sixpence, Happy New Year Everyone.
Some nice detecting finds - bet they come from many hours searching, making them all the more worthwhile! Thought I would add my favourite find of 2010 as well - This one took several years to get permission, as it was under the well kept front garden of a house in a rather affluent village! 27-litre V-12 Packard V-1650 Merlin from Mustang IV KH 838
