Not bad condition inside as well , a well preserved lid must have been in blue clay !!

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Fallschirmjager no 2
i gots me another one
Very decent helmet IMO. Thanks for showing.
Nice relic item's!
Just be careful with relic Para lid's though as many are dug from grave's and a guy was busted for it and booted off ebay after selling many good one's for around $500.Not a bad price and as far as i'm concerned all relic lid's are fare game and possible grave item's of some description but Para's are famous for being buried wearing their Helmet's.I have a nice one but was dugout in Germany with several other's and in very good shape for a relic lid and has most of the interior too.I also have a relic Gravity Knife form Russia in good shape appart from no wood and blade had rusted to the point where it just broke up:-)

Four mess tins from Auvere region, the one with lid is german and three others are russian mess tins found in a same place, there was also a spoon and a mug, russians did some heavy cooking.
Also an mg42 feed tray, one "ear" has broken off and therefore it has been discarded, found it behind MG firing point, auvere.
