Your work impresses me. Things SS soldiers are very interesting. In the battle of Stalingrad, the SS was not so we can not find it.

is this the same little cabin in your first pics? i hope i didn't break any copywrite laws posting this pic. It's from the book "Seven Days in January" by wolf t. zoepf.
Structures of bunkers in remote Karelian woods practically same. In Lapland the Finnish instructors were engaged in all constructions. Further having received experience, Waffen SS began to build by own strength.

I think that is Finnish Maxims mount Salakari. I still think the one in the picture was mount of L-39. IMHO

Gotta comment, its odd that I live in America with all the history we have here in Rev War, Civil War, ect that my interest is in the Russian front 41-45. Very nice photos. Regards Joe
