Excellent finds '121'! They were deep indeed but I don't suppose the ploughing helps that other than to break the surface for you. Do my eyes deceive me or is that musket shot in there too?
Martyn.
Thanks for posting.
Such a very interesting thread.
I have been following it with interest. You certainly found some good places to dig. Just fantastic. Such a very interesting bit of history - to be able to search where huge amounts of soldiers threw away items prior to disappear into the vast steppes of Russia. I have been to Narva several times, but seen/found nothing like this. Please keep up the good work and keep posting here, as I certainly will "tune in" and continue to follow your thread with interest.
Disregard the negative comments, as the posters obviously have no clue as to the nature of your digging efforts at all. I thought the mod response very restrained in view of the nature of the harsh comments and as these comments pop up now and again. How tedious. Good work and well said on behalf of the mods.
Paul - I blame you! Just now ordered Kurowskis book Look forward to reading it.

Hello Andris,

Best regards,

Excellent finds from the flea market. Did it all cost much money?
Gone GREEN with envy again! The most I saw today was a bunch of old Navy workshirts... circa 2008!

I will have to go back to the first page and read through the entire thread, but I wanted to say I just stumbled upon your ebay store and I like that horse shoe! I am an equestrian myself, so that caught my eye!
Edit: ok, I read through the entire thread, Wow! enthralling photos. I have to ask, do you have any "in field" photos of that horse shoe you have listed??
