Everything is carefully documented.
Work is done. It was exhausting, hard work on hot sun. Can go to search Juan's grandfather, we found the place where after war was German grave and name of the house is the same as in documents. Search of him will be continued in autumn because there is growing grain.
On the way back to Riga from international trip we have tradition to visit Saldus German war cemetery. These 21 guys from "Großdeutschland" soon will be there.
All items and remains of soldiers will be buried at cemetery, never took any items from fallen and wouldn't take.
P.S. Documentary about this trip will be seen on YouTube after some time.
Very nice , Andris! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
excellent work
Nicely done, something to be proud of.
Thanks for the thread so far, i am new here and have read three similar threads, all involved showed courtesy to the dead and a high level of professionalism.
I am a big fan of P38 and walther ppk pistols and when i first started reading these threads I anticipated seeing quite a few, but i get the impression that your respective governments take offence at thier citizens being anywhere near a gun so I understand that its best to dispose of them, but that last P38 looked to be a beauty. I look forward to more posts, and to all involved please be careful around objects that may go "bang".
