    We picked a ton of berries today and managed to fill the backpack with rust as well. Autumn is hitting hard here now so every day needs to be spent out there
    Best find today was a M24 head, empty and ready for oxalic acid

    Thanks Anderson. Yes,finding that ditch full of helmets was a dream-come-true and I guess a once in a lifetime find. I have been back there several times already checking for hits like that but seems they were all dumped in that single ditch

    Rainy days here so im at the workbench making stuff.. here is a couple of displays first, some bits from a German astronomical book and three exploded k98 casings mounted in frames, and I am making cufflinks from battlefield found rifle casings

    I hope the nasty weather will stop soon so that a little more digging can be done before winter hits any week now..snowcovered mountaintops around the valley this morning :/

    Made a spectacular last find of the day today!! Never thought I d find another one of these Nordfront Crosses. Also dug out a seat for a küble-or schwimmwagen and a bunch of other bits. While I was digging Girlfriend scored us a few kilo of berries, so now the house smells like jam and syrup
