My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

I refuse to let winter interfere with my rust hoarding so this morning I sped off to the forest and the Heer camp and stayed until it began getting dark

The winter is finding it hard to settle so that makes relic hunters happy. Because the Polar Night has begun there is only a few hours light enough to dig but I made a few nice finds today

It was snowing too much for going out digging today so I found this old helmet fragment I got from a Stalingrad digger and mounted it in a frame, so now it looks cool and can clutter someones wall rather than just lay and dust away in my stash box

I have really enjoyed your thread, some quite amazing finds!

I am located near Bergen,I have often thought about buying a metal detector because my house is close to an old German camp.I was talking to an old timer last week who told me where another camp was.So thats two German Camps a prisoner of war camp all within 10 km.

What metal detector would you recommend for a beginner like myself?

    Thanks,glad you like it
There is many good detectors on the market, and in general they are all good, the trick is to get to know the one you end up using. A nice mid range model you ll get from 3 to 5000 Nkr
